Details

Candide is a beautiful 27ft Edwardian beavertail launch built by the renowned Thames boatbuilders Taylor & Bates during the 1920's.

She seats up to 10 in comfort on sociable horseshoe style seating to fore and aft, with bespoke willow basket storage beneath;  fitted mahogany cooler box stowed beneath the aft bench; Lloyd Loom chair at helm; discreetly fitted mahogany glass holders; and mahogany picnic table which can be stored to the underside of the canopy when not in use.  Upholstery for all seating is covered in oatmeal leather, buttoned, with contrasting stitching detail.  

Her Meadows Sheerwater engine sits beneath a glazed topped mahogany engine case.

Candide's extensive inventory includes: canopy complete with removable drop down screens offering adaptability for boating in comfort;  overall cover in Sunbrella canvas;  coir style carpets; and 6 x handmade rope fenders
