"Bright Amber" is a 25ft slipper stern launch built in 1997 by Peter Freebody & Co. Her 2.5kw electric motor is provided with power by two sets of four x 12 volt 135AH batteries.
Her cockpit offers bench seating at stern with additional 'kiddie seats' to port and starboard, and two traditional Lloyd Loom chairs at helm, all upholstered in blue with white piping. Also in the cockpit are varnished foldaway picnic table, mahogany glass holders, and her steering wheel is of the handmade varnished mahogany rimmed type which is a signaturemark of the slipper launches built at Peter Freebody & Co. In addition to her complete set of deck hardware, there is a chrome plated spotlight mounted on her foredeck.
"Bright Amber" is fitted with a blue acrylic canvas canopy which covers the cockpit area in full, and overall cover supported on three stainless steel hoops.
